Batting material (or wadding) is an important consideration in designing your quilt project. It is important to get the correct weight to ensure that the quilt will have the correct loft (thickness or fluffyness) after it has been quilted. Some batting materials are more readily machine washable making them more suitable for cot quilts. While others are more suitable for craft projects. Although the batting will not be visible its effect on your finished project will be. So make sure that you choose the right batting for your project.
If you are not sure which type of batting is best for you follow this link to Choosing the Best Type of Batting on my Services page where I explain all about the different types of batting and what some of the terminology means.
